Parade Participant Applications: it is very important that your contact information is clear and correct.  Print Registration Form,  Then complete ALL the sections Mail with Payment no later than June 14th! There will be confirmation letters sent on or about June 30th ~ only invited & confirmed entrants will be allowed to participate in the Lake Zurich Lions Alpine Fest^TM Parade.

Alpine Fest^TM & The Alpine Fest^TM Parade are brought to you by the Lake Zurich Lions Club.  Alpine Fest^TM & The Alpine Fest^TM Parade are PRIVATE functions and are NOT affiliated with the Village of Lake Zurich nor any other political or governmental body.  Lion Fred Blau Park is private land solely owned and operated by the Lake Zurich Lions Club.

ONLY invited groups and/or organizations may participate in the Alpine Fest^TM Parade. 

    It is just this simple!   

If you were NOT invited to participate in Alpine Fest^TM and/or The Alpine Fest^TM Parade, then you are NOT allowed to participate in Alpine Fest^TM and/or The Alpine Fest^TM Parade.

ONLY INVITED & CONFIRMED ENTRANTS
will be allowed to participate in the Lake Zurich Lions Alpine Fest^TM Parade.

    It is just that simple!   

Political Entries:
Elected officials currently representing the Lake Zurich Community may enter 1 car including a driver, the representative and 1 passenger and may distribute candy only.

ANYONE including Elected officials wishing to distribute flyers and/or any advertisements besides candy will be required to give a $500.00 donation payable to LZ Lions. Anyone that does not comply with these rules will be barred from future participation in the Lake Zurich Lions Alpine Fest^TM Parade.

1) Entries in The Alpine Fest^TM Parade which are primarily single issue oriented, either directly or indirectly, will not be accepted. In determining whether an entry is primarily single issue oriented, factors to be considered shall include, but are not limited to, whether a substantial part of the activities of the organization or its affiliates involve
   (a) attempting to influence legislation; or
   (b) participating in or intervening in any political campaign on behalf of any candidate for a public office; or
   (c) advocating issues that function as political campaign intervention; or
   (d) carrying on propaganda.

2) Only current elected officials representing the Lake Zurich Community are eligible to participate in the parade as “public servants”. However, no form of campaign promotion will be permitted. Alpine Fest^TM and/or The Alpine Fest^TM Parade will provide signage for invited elected officials. One entry per political party will also be allowed. The entry should be general in nature and shall not promote a single issue or candidate!

3) NO ONE is allowed to distribute ANYTHING in Lion Fred Blau Park which is private land solely owned and operated by the Lake Zurich Lions Club, Before, During or After Alpine Fest^TM.

Entertainers:
Only approved and confirmed entries will be allowed to participate in the Lake Zurich Lions Alpine Fest^TM Parade.  Your confirmation letter will include your map and staging instructions.  If you do not receive a confirmation letter there will be no donation check cut for your group!

Business Entries:
Business entries must be accompanied by a check payable to
         Lake Zurich Lions for $100.00

Non-Profit Organizations:
The $100.00 fee is waived for non-profit organizations.
